Casting concrete wall models for the 16mm:ft FWR Garden Railway. Part 1 - Making the mould.

This is the first of two videos documenting how I've made a number of concrete models for the 16mm "FWR" Garden Railway. This first video talks you through the process from overview through to pouring the liquid rubber.

The second video covers the use of the finished mould through to casting the first model in concrete - and finishing with revealing the final result.

Implicit in the two videos is a review of the two different Polytek polyurethane rubber softnesses that I've used - 75-60 ('firm') and 74-29 (medium-soft).

This is very much an amateur, DIY project. I have no professional experience of this sort of thing and the creation of the first moulds has been entirely by trial and error. (You will see this process continue...). Thus, I take no liability for the advice given or implied by this - I'm simply sharing what I find works for me.

The workshop / grounded fruit van in which the action takes place was one built for us by a local firm a few years ago. The maker has since retired I'm afraid.
