Happy New Year, everybody! I propose we commence 2024 with an updated perception of the Sonic Superstars soundtrack, which received superfluous backlash from misinformed people lacking insight into what they were bickering about.

Jun Senoue is a veteran composer, contributing to the Sonic franchise since 1993, but comments from the fandom predominantly chastised him as if he began his music career with Sonic Adventure. In other words, they think he is an inexperienced "F.M. wannabe," revisiting the YM2612 era in the most "so retro" approach possible without any redeeming qualities. Others are cognizant of his three-decade career, starting with Sonic 3, but contemptibly disperse the falsehood that he never utilized chiptune hardware and had others cover that for him.

Senoue, according to the comments I witnessed the fandom posting, uses:
- Midi "instruments"
- "Abhorrent, authentic F.M. ("the YM2612, in general, must perish because it is no longer the 90s")
- "Fake FM"
- "Atrocious cat synthesizers"
(All of these presumptions are erroneous)

Should we ideally permit this vocal portion of the fandom (contradictory and clueless) to provide feedback to influence the next Sonic soundtrack? Despite their insistence that Tee Lopes should displace everyone on the SEGA sound team, some cannot even identify his work in Superstars, attributing incorrect credits! Research and meticulous analysis of music are foreign concepts to them.

Three iterations of Cyber Station exist, but @dietbepsi settled on Senoue's pitch (the earliest version) because he thought that Toriena included 8-bit-styled instruments irrelevant to Sonic. He provided me with a nearly-finished .flp transcription and a beneficial F.M. patch selection template I expanded on. Admittedly, the chosen style of this remix slightly deviates from the quintessential Senoue YM2612 arrangement because he seldom used the delay effect (only once if he finalized proto CNZ 1). Moreover, Senoue never utilized organ voices in Sonic 3D Blast, but they were required. Fortunately, they come from the Sound Source library that Senoue relied on in the 90s, so who am I to say that he would have never selected those sounds (in theory)?
