Скачать или смотреть Okta SSO Login. Couldn't get my SMS verification texts (my text number was working). They reset MFA

I contacted support recently because I couldn't log into my work apps. Why? We use OKTA login authentication... BUT.. I was never receiving any of my verification codes by SMS text. The problem was not on my side.. as I was receiving text just fine using phone text through t-mobile or using google voice texts.

Eventually, 24 hours later support contacted me.
Their solution.
Reset MFA for SMS texts (where MFA = Multi Factor Authorization).

It's fancy for... I'm going to disable SMS text. Then have you re-enter your SMS text phone number to enable MFA SMS texts. Had I know the solution would be fixable on my own side.. I would have just done it on my own without wait 24 hrs.

NOTE: SMS verification codes did start working after 12 hrs (middle of the night), but then they stopped working AGAIN.

1. Go into OKTA Settings
2. Edit profile.. and then (maybe under Extra Verification - Remove SMS Authentication
3. You'll probably be asked to enter your OKTA password or Verification Code (or both)
4. Now click on "Setup" for SMS Authentication.
5. Go through the steps to add back in your SMS text number.
6. Hopefully it works again now.

Now.. this to me seems lame. But anyways... this is what support suggested to me.
