The long-awaited version 2.0 of Spectre Digital's Extinction Level Event drum library is here, with controversial producer Glenn Fricker at the helm. He absolutely hated programmed drums, and he's not shy with his opinions. So he took those complaints he had with "R2D2 drums" and created Extinction Level Event, a Kontakt metal drum sample library. In this video I track drums for a song with ELE 2.0, I go through the presets (and show you my favorite snare), and I tell you three reasons why this is my choice for best metal drums under $150.
