Now making over 147hp & 149ft/lbs we are up 10HP & 8FT/LBS from the bolt on Stage IV 131ci Kit. That is a solid gain for just a cam swap.

I removed the Screamin' Eagle 517 Cam & install the Cycle-Rama 512 Cam.
I update the stock cam plate to a FUELING OE+ cam support plate & add some billet lifter cuffs from S&S to keep everything in order.

The gains are very impressive for such a 'low compression ratio' build.
I can't wait for part 3 when I install some HI COMP Pistons!

Wes from Cycle-Rama really knows his stuff & how to grind a cam for these M8's. All his cams produce solid gains, along with very broad torque curves. The power curves just keep going to the moon!!!

I talk about a few benefits of some of the aftermarket products out there these days & I touch on the latest oil pump from Harley-Davidson. The oil pump now features an 8 lobe ge-rotor on the scavenge side of the pump & since having installed countless numbers of them, I have NOT SEEN ANY ISSUES.
