Avomeen's President and Chief Technical Officer, Dr. Andrew Kolbert, speaks to the potential career paths for chemists in this on-demand webinar.

A degree in chemistry opens many doors. The opportunities are so vast you could work anywhere from chemical engineering to chemist and anywhere in between. Even if you’re not a recent graduate, it’s always great to learn about potential future opportunities.

A chemistry degree is essentially a key that opens a door to limitless possibilities. Every area is important and every job within those areas have specific skills and responsibilities that make up the puzzle of chemistry careers. Whether you work in technical sales, library science, regulatory affairs, law firms, safety and environmental, manufacturing, etc., your job is an important piece of the puzzle!

Dr. Andrew Kolbert offers valuable insight regarding careers in chemistry and why CROs (Contract Research Organizations) are such a special place to work.

In science-based services companies like CROs, there are all types of positions. In sales, you are selling the analytical and R&D services of the company in which you work for. An analytical chemist would provide services for clients on a project-to-project basis. In R&D, you would be working hands on to develop new, innovative and exciting products for clients in various fields with extensive needs.

Avomeen is a CRO and CDMO (contract development and manufacturing company) and our clients are manufacturers, big pharma, biotech, lawyers, entrepreneurs…and the list goes on and on! Most of these companies do not have an internal laboratory that is equipped as we are to handle any type of project. That is where CROs and CDMOs come in to help assist with their technical expertise and capabilities. To explore open positions at Avomeen, visit https://www.avomeen.com/ourapproach/c....
