Transformers knock-offs have been around for ages, and some of them are copying Japanese exclusive figures. This oversized knock-off features the Micromaster combiner Sixbuilder, part of the Generation One line in Japan. Captain Kyle examines this set of six KOs to see if they could grace your collection.

Erectorbot is based on Sixbuilder, the combined form of the Autobot Micromaster Build Team, which was released in 1992. This knockoff is much larger than the original Micromasters, but the set does transform and combine the same way. Oddly, all the Micromaster teams released were Autobots, so the Decepticons were woefully underrepresented. This set actually is more colour-accurate than the reissues that came out in 2003. But they are larger and feel cheaper. Captain Kyle examines them thoroughly in this video.

Unfortunately, this set doesn’t appear to be on sale anywhere. So, keep an eye out at local toy stores and toy shows, and check eBay periodically.
