May is National Foster and Adoptive Family Appreciation Month, and at Colonial, we value bringing hope to the fatherless. This month is a special opportunity for us to celebrate, encourage, and support the incredible foster and adoptive families in our community. We’re honored to share the story of Pastor Jim’s father, Warren West, who was fostered and later adopted into the West family at age 13. Warren came to faith at 19, and his adoption journey has shaped his understanding of being chosen—not only by a family, but also by God.
