Harvesting wild herbs at the beach | with subtitles | sea fennel tea | silent vlog

When the first signs of autumn become noticeable in September and the days get shorter and the nights cooler, I love to spend a few more days in the south. I then like to go to the sea to catch the last warm rays of sunshine, to enjoy the present moment and to relax. Life is always a little slower here than at home, which I really enjoy. This time I decided to explore the local wild plants more closely and came across a wonderful plant, the sea fennel. It has been used at least since ancient times and tastes wonderful in vegetable dishes or as pickled vegetables. It is also very suitable as tea and thus unfolds its sweet and aromatic taste. In folk medicine it is said that it should help with digestive problems and seafarers valued it as a fresh vegetable against scurvy. So I decided to collect a supply for home so that I can enjoy a little summer with every sip of tea in autumn.
