Culture is the key differentiator in a world where tech talent is sparse. In this talk Dan will show how culture is a huge driver for business outcomes and how it is underinvested in. He will also give some concrete advice on things that you can do that will have a lasting impact.

Dan works as a senior DevOps consultant at Eficode.
Throughout the last four years he has helped a wide variety of organizations across industries improve their software delivery capabilities.
Prior to becoming a consultant he had also lead a succesful continuous delivery transformation at his previous employeer.

His mission is simply to make engineers more happy. He believes that happy and empowered leads to a happy business.
Right now Dan helps clients on this path by focusing on Developer Experience (DevEx).
He also seeks to exploit knowledge on team topologies in a way that help teams increase flow and reduce their cognitive load.
