These are both such stunningly good bikes! We love the TVS Apache 200 4V for being able to balance comfort and performance without losing what we really enjoy – the feelings it generates as you ride. The 200 has become very well equipped with the front- and rear-preload both being unheard of. And if you have one? Set sag! Methods are online and it will change your riding experience! TVS also does a few gizmos that don't add that much value – like riding modes on a 20bhp bike for example. The R15's traction control - to us, is good for new riders -- but not very useful either. Where the R15 is different is in its nature. It doesn't pretend to be comfortable and or promise it, and then somehow it does surprise you with its ability. Between the two? Choose the 200 for value and all-round ability. Choose the Yamaha for quality, capability and focus.
