The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced a the public advisory committee meeting of the Tobacco Products Scientific Advisory Committee (TPSAC) in a published Federal Register Notice (FRN) dated Friday, March 10, 2023 (Vol. 88, No. 47) . The general function of the committee is to provide advice and recommendations to FDA on regulatory issues related to tobacco products. This meeting was held to discuss and provide an opportunity for recommendations on the proposed Requirements for Tobacco Product Manufacturing Practice rule (proposed 21 CFR part 1120). The meeting was conducted in an open session for the entirety of the meeting.
