Hello Fragrance Fans and welcome back to my garden!

A while back, I did a call-out for questions and I was so overwhelmed with everything you wanted to know that I had to split my response into 3 videos.

"Questions I Get Asked All The Time" is already up on my channel, and this is Part 1 of 2 of the main feature.

These are all questions I got asked on Instagram - in Part 2 I will answer questions I received from YouTube users.

Questions answered in this video:
00:14 - “Where do you get all your beautiful shirts?”
00:29 - “Is there any hidden symbolism in perfume?”
01:08 - “Can you elaborate on the different varieties of oud?”
02:03 - “When you make a fragrance with oud, what region of do you use?”
02:52 - “Is there any particular scent experience you would love to be able to recreate exactly, and why?”
03:12 - “What do you see as the future of fragrance in the next 10+ years? Smells, production, methods of delivery, customisation…”
04:31 - “What does love smell like to you?”
05:04 - “Which fragrance would you recommend pairing/ wearing while drinking the Macallan Edition No. 3 to have an optimal experience?”
05:43 - “What are your thoughts on houses or investors approaching fragrance influencers to create fragrances and would you be up for a collaboration with a fragrance reviewer?”
07:23- “You once advised that it's best to spray perfume before applying cream and not vice versa. How about destroying the notes in the process of rubbing?”
08:28 - “How do you feel when someone smells your creation and refers it to something they know from another house?”
09:18- “What was your biggest struggle when starting Roja?”
10:43 - “What would you say is the hardest ingredient/note to balance within a perfume, one that either overpowers the others or one that tends to get lost if handled incorrectly?
12:19 - “If you were creating a fragrance to represent the recent unprecedented times, what would it smell like?”
13:10 - “What makes a fragrance “Complex”?”
