The Rise of Call of Duty Zombies: World At War is the beginning of the zombies series being covered on this channel. It's a miracle this mode even began and the happiest accident zombies could have ever asked for, but Treyarch in 2008 was kicking off the 2nd entry into the golden era with some major style! World at War was received okay, but this mode pushed the game into modern day greatness. Modern Warfare was the beginning, Modern Warfare 2 may be the chapter after, but with these maps, nothing was touching Treyarch here. Nacht Der Untoten was the beginning with the raygun, the wall weapons, mystery box, drops like max ammo, nuke, double points, and more. Verruckt was the scariest map ever made, but introduced the power switch, teddy bears, perk machines like juggernog, quick revive, speed cola, and double tap. Shi No Numa is where the series put on the offensive instead of defensive and introduced the wunderwaffe, hellhounds, and way more.
