Our First International Cosplay Competition | The World Cosplay 2023 Event Vlog Part 2

@AnnieChieDesigns and I represented Canada at the World Cosplay Summit@WORLDCOSPLAYSUMMIT in Nagoya this summer! It was an absolutely incredible experience where we met people from all around the world and got to hang out with them for a week. Even though it was a competition between all of us, we cheered each other on, gushed over each other's costumes and helped each other out when needed.

A HUGE thank you to @Otakuthon for hosting the WCS preliminaries, to the @WORLDCOSPLAYSUMMIT for organizing the entire event, to Shawna our incredible organizer, to Minori and Suzuka our amazing omotenashi students, to my partner Corey for being the best support I could ask for, to Annie's partner Sam for supporting her through it all, to friends Charles, Lukas and Jesse who helped us a lot while we were in Japan. to Sophie who gave us critique to improve our skit, to Sanpacosplay and Algaesworld for attending the actual event to support us, to Annie''s parents and the members of the Salem Church for letting us use their space for rehearsal and to all of you guys for all your lovely comments and encouragement!
