This video is produced for Urban Governance and Infrastructure Improvement (sector) Project of LGED with the financial assistance of GIZ under GUG program on behalf of Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. This video presents how Natore municipality has undertaken several measures to support under-privileged women, children and transgender community. Through providing need based training along with interest free loan and financial support to the poor students brought a remarkable change of the life of the marginalized women and children. Natore municipality took special initiative to mainstreaming of the transgender community who were traditionally excluded from the main stream of the society.
In order to promote the spirit of social inclusion, currently dissemination of this practice to other municipalities is going on through horizontal learning program aiming for replication and creation of new good practices by themselves
