We're pretty upset with this bottle. Particularly the size of it. Not really knowing what to expect, we cracked this on a lark one evening and were quite impressed with the delectable contents. Rye whiskey can be divisive, and if you don't like rye, this one ain't for you (try savage and cooke's lip service instead). However, if you DO like rye whiskey, the Neeley Rye is well worth the purchase. A higher proof might make you think this bottle has more bite than you might be looking for, and while it does pack a punch, it's perfectly balanced out with overtones of wildflower honey. This is as near perfection in a rye as we've had in a good while. Cheers!
