As the spirit of Dashain takes hold, the hustle and bustle across Pokhara is noticeably increasing.

पोखरा । दशैंको रौनकसँगै पोखरा भरि चहलपहल बढ्न थालेको छ । चाडपर्व नजिकिँदै जाँदा बजारमा किनमेल गर्नेको भिड बढेको छ भने मुस्ताङ क्षेत्रबाट च्याङ्ग्रा (भेडा) पोखरा भित्र्याउने क्रम पनि तीव्र भएको छ ।

मुस्ताङका विभिन्न गाउँहरूबाट व्यापारीहरूले च्याङ्ग्रा ल्याएर पोखराका विभिन्न स्थानमा बिक्री गर्न थालेका छन् । दशैंमा च्याङ्ग्राको मासु विशेष स्वादिष्ट मानिने भएकाले उपभोक्ताको आकर्षण पनि उत्तिकै छ ।

पोखराका स्थानीयवासी मात्र नभई आसपासका गाउँबस्तिबाट समेत दशैंको किनमेलका लागि मानिसहरू पोखरा झर्ने गर्दछन् । यसरी मुस्ताङबाट च्याङ्ग्रा भित्र्याउँदै, हरिचोकदेखि यम्दी क्षेत्रसम्म पोखरामा दशैंको पूर्ण रौनक देखिएको छ ।

Pokhara. As the spirit of Dashain takes hold, the hustle and bustle across Pokhara is noticeably increasing. With the festival drawing near, crowds of shoppers have surged in the markets, and the influx of Chyangra (mountain goats/sheep) from the Mustang region into Pokhara has also intensified.

Traders are bringing Chyangra from various villages in Mustang and setting up sales points in different locations across Pokhara. Given that Chyangra meat is considered especially delicious during Dashain, consumer interest is exceptionally high.

Not only residents of Pokhara but also people from surrounding villages are descending upon the city for their Dashain shopping. With the arrival of Chyangra from Mustang, from Harichowk all the way to the Yamdi area, Pokhara is now displaying the full vibrancy of the Dashain season.
