Gieten staat bekend om zijn prachtige MTB-route rondom de recreatieplas 't Nije Hemelriek 👙, maar dat ze er ook fantastische toertochten kunnen organiseren is misschien wat minder bekend. We reden de 75 km tocht; deze bracht ons door de prachtige bossen 🌲 en heide van het Drouwenerzand, Boswachterij Schoonloo en Grolloo, met als afsluiter de lekkere trails van de MTB-route Gieten. Een aanrader! 👍

Gieten is renowned for its stunning MTB trail around the recreational lake 't Nije Hemelriek 👙, but its capability to organize fantastic touring events might be less known. We rode the 75 km tour; it took us through the beautiful forests 🌲 and heathlands of Drouwenerzand, Schoonloo Forestry, and Grolloo, ending with the delightful trails of the Gieten MTB route. Highly recommended! 👍
