Feasibility of Deep ploughing for planting of wheat || Crop Reformer

Описание к видео Feasibility of Deep ploughing for planting of wheat || Crop Reformer

Again, and again use of rotavator for years after years has led to development of hard pan in heavy and clayey soils of rice zone. Wheat crop cannot perform better in such clogged soils. Management of this type of soil is a difficult task. In this video, we have advised the farmers to manage for deep ploughing after every three years in those soils where hard pan has developed. Well aerated healthy soil with proper drainage and irrigation system is not only conducive to deep penetration of anchoring roots and their respiration but it is also important for water drainage. Most of the sandy, loam and heavy loam soils of central to south Punjab and Thal area which are already well drained, have no need of deep plowing for successful production of wheat crop. Land preparation is a main factor in proper growth and development of wheat plants. Some roots penetrate deeper than others that make the plant strong against the harsh weather and wind conditions. So, we should keep an eye on the condition and situation of our soil before planting any crop. Otherwise, our efforts and expensive investment will not provide us some decent profit.
