First off, thanks for watching. Second, I apologize for my poor pronunciation. I tried to look up linguistics for some words but I’m sure my midwestern US accent came through on some.

Also this is not nearly an extensive history of portugal. It’s abridged heavily and my resources ranged from wikipedia to a tour guide and just anecdotes from people I met in Portugal. I welcome all corrections and discussions regarding the history of Lisbon and Portugal as a whole. Definitely not meant to be a source of truth for facts. This video is meant to pique interests and start conversations, not end them. Some sources cited below.
