In the second episode of AM in Omo Valley, I dive deeper into the vibrant cultures of the tribes of Ethiopia. The Nyangatom tribe blew me away with their amazing house-building skills, the Kara tribe’s face and body painting was so beautiful, and the Bana tribe casually walking on stilts left me speechless! After meeting all these different tribes, I realised how all of them have their own unique traditions but one thing in common is the unity among them. This trip really made me think about how different their way of life is from ours, but they’re so happy and content—it’s something I’ll never forget!
