Museums the world over have featured large plasma balls to explain the principles of electricity, whilst amazing visitors with their glowing spectacles of multi-coloured lightning.

We realised that nothing like this was available for people to have in their homes, so we decided to have our factory design a large diameter plasma ball which approaches the size and visual impact of a museum ball. This plasma ball is nearly twice the diameter of the largest balls available on the market.

The ball is filled with rare gases, which react with electricity to form streams of coloured plasma. The central electrode produces boiling red plasma which emanates outward in tendrils of violet. By using the power control, you can change the effect from a subtle light dance to a full blown galactic sun storm! The effects these globes create are so bright that they are easily seen in daylight, and are spectacular in a slightly darkened room.
