CHECK THIS ON YOUR RESERVE PARACHUTE!

Two quick tips on the rigging of your reserve parachute. These tips make sure that the parachute will come out of your harness, and that it will come out of the bag - and thats pretty damn important.

The tips are - 1) make sure that the inner container has the smooth side facing towards the pilot. 2) Make sure the parachute cannot be lifted by the lines - adjust the length of the closing loop to ensure that the weight of the parachute will pull the lines out of the inner container closing loop.
