Jack Vance's "Turjan of Miir" and "T'sais"

Hello Folks! I hope you having a fun day, today!

Let’s look at another pair of short stories from the classic The Dying Earth by Jack Vance. He was incredibly influential in modern Fantasy, and many of the tropes and concepts in modern fantasy come from Vance’s works. We’ll look at the first and third short stories called “Turjan of Miir” and “T’sais.” In these stories, each short story will follow a minor character from the previous story. T’sais was introduced in Turjan, and then will lead her story. One bandit she’ll face named Liane will also lead the next story, “Liane the Wayfarer.”

Turjan of Miir will head to another land in his pursuit of more powerful magic, and T’sais will travel and then connect with Etarr and head out to help him break his curse.
