This is a great functional movement exercise that teaches a walker to open up the hips. Start by sitting on the edge of a bench with feet hip width apart, toes forward and knees bent 90 degrees. Next, lace your fingers behind your head and squeeze your shoulder blades to open those elbows as far back as you can.

Stand up, squeezing your glutes to open your hips. Without moving your feet, arch your back and return to a seated position. Repeat for a total of 10.
