The perfect pastry sour sliced and served for our 6th birthday, with jammy strawberries, tart raspberries and sweet vanilla icing.

Appearance:
Pours a burgundy red colour with a slight haze and a pinkish-white head
Aroma:
Sweet and jammy aromas of strawberries and raspberries dominate, with hints of vanilla icing in the background.
Taste:
The initial taste is a burst of sweet strawberries and tart raspberries, followed by a creamy vanilla icing sweetness. The addition of lactose adds a smooth, creamy mouthfeel.
Finish:
The finish is sweet and slightly tart, with the berry flavours lingering, calling for a second slice.
