On the second day of our Darjeeling trip we left Maldiram and first visited Maldiram Monastery and then we reached Maldiram Tea Garden. Then on the way we saw several orange gardens.
Then we reached Jogi Ghat. Jogi Ghat is a beautiful hill village full of natural beauty. This village is situated at the foothills and the beauty of this village is multiplied by a small river flowing through the village. For nature lovers, this Jogi Ghat can become the best destination for a day. After spending some time here, we reached Mongpoo.
The most famous thing to see in this place is Rabindranath Tagore's bungalow. Rabindranath Tagore's Bengal is just as beautiful. What would be best would be Rabindra Sangeet songs in half Bengali and Hindi voice by the man who maintains this bungalow.
Then we reached our today's homestay at Dawai Pani. As we reached the homestay very soon we all decided that we will explore the city of Darjeeling which is 22 km from Dawai Pani during the day. After completing lunch at the homestay we left for Darjeeling and on the way saw Batasiya Loop, Ghoom Station, Darjeeling Mall and Mahakal Mandir. Gleaners we completed the evening snacks. Then we went back to our homestay around 9pm.
