Given to me by a whistleblower, this is a fragment of a tape all new members of the bloodthirsty 'Esoteric Order of Dagon' cult were made to watch. This was only possible to see after committing one of their worst acts: 'The Third Oath of Dagon.' This is rumoured to be an act of child sacrifice, though no confirmation of this has been forthcoming. In Louisiana, a few years ago, a similar cult was apprehended calling itself 'The Cthulhu Cult.' This 'Esoteric Order of Dagon is being treated as the same entity, due to this strange name 'Cthulhu' being mentioned in both instances. Much like the former case, all evidence of this cult's existence were confiscated by the FBI a few weeks after investigation. My source (who wishes to be anonymous) claims the reason for this runs deeper then we know.

Supposedly speaking is a man claiming to be called 'Obed Marsh.' This is strange as the only man of that name I have found (from that area) is a 19th century sea captain, and this tape was supposedly taken in the 80s. it is possible that this is a descendent. No descendants were ever recorded, though this could be a clerical issue - the Innsmouth census was notoriously iffy, after all - but he seems to hint at this discrepancy. And in the most allarming way possible.
