Internation Albinism Awareness Day

In 2013, the United Nations Human Rights Council adopted a resolution that called for the prevention of discrimination against persons with albinism. On December 18, 2014, the UN General Assembly proclaimed June 13th as International Albinism Awareness Day. The first observance was in 2015.This year celebration will be marked under the theme: “10 Years of International Albinism Awareness Day: A Decade of Collective Progress.”
