Winter Driving Tips:

1 - Check or Replace Windshield Wipers

Make sure both front and rear (if equipped) wipers are working properly.

2 - Use Winter-Grade Wiper Fluid

Choose washer fluid rated for freezing temperatures to prevent lines from icing.

3 - Inspect Tire Condition and Pressure

· Ensure tires have adequate tread (replace if below 4mm).

· Verify tire pressure, as PSI drops in cold weather.

· Tire shops can check both tread and PSI for you.

4 - Test All Vehicle Lights and Horn

Confirm that your horn, headlights, brake lights, and turn signals are functioning.

5 - Keep Up With Vehicle Maintenance

Check that routine services are current and that all fluids are topped off.

6 - Allow Extra Time & Stay Patient

Winter weather can change rapidly and cause delays. Build extra time into your plans.

7 - Slow Down

Icy and snowy conditions increase stopping distances, reduce your speed and increase your following distance.

8 - Avoid Cruise Control

Maintain full control of your vehicle by avoiding cruise control in winter conditions.

9 - Check Weather & Road Conditions Before Traveling

Always check forecasts and road reports, especially when heading into ice or snow.

10 - Keep Your Fuel Tank at Least Half Full

Prevents running low in case of delays, detours, or unexpected traffic.
