Vegan Atheist and Conservative Muslim Trigger Each Other

Much like I don't represent vegans as a whole, the muslims I spoke with in this video don't represent muslims as a whole. If the world is to be a good place to live, we need to base our morals on empathy - not just religious texts. Both the Quran and the Bible contain passages allowing slavery, but most muslims and most christians understand that slavery has no place in modern society. We should have the same stance towards slitting the throats of animals while they are still conscious.
