2021 Great Oak Symphonic SCSBOA Adjudicated Performance

The Great Oak HS Symphonic Band is proud to present their performance of their festival repertoire for the 2021 School Year. While the amount of rehearsal time, and circumstances have been challenging we are incredibly proud of the students resilience and determination.

When the greatest focus has been keeping everyone healthy and safe, we are pleased that music became an enjoyable respite from all aspects of quarantine.

We would like to thank SCSBOA Adjudicator, Retired TVUSD Director of Bands, and Mentor Mr. Brad Hinkson for his willingness to adjudicate in person at Great Oak High School.

We are also grateful to Devin Walker, former member of the Great Oak Ensembles, and Music Ed. Student for his continued work as winds coach and advisor. Bravo!

Finally to Enrique Perez who made this all possible by overseeing the construction, donation and distribution of bell covers for each of the instruments and performers.
