“We know for a fact that Hamas is violating the agreement. We know for a fact that Hamas is opening fire on our soldiers, not for the first time. I remind you, they already did so. And we know for a fact that the Hamas is are violating the agreements also in terms of the binary terms. So yes, the answer is very clear. Hamas is responsible for the fire. Hamas is responsible for the violation. And in terms of the response, we said very clearly, we will respond to any violation. We will respond to those who are in violation, firmly. And this is what we did. And as of 10 a.m. today, Israel said, that is, Israel will continue to uphold the ceasefire.”

"Israel is committed to the ceasefire; Israel is committed to the (President Donald) Trump plan. The only problem is that Hamas is not committed; the only problem is that Hamas violating the ceasefire, shooting at us, doing those terrible, barbaric, sadistic maneuvers with bodies of the hostages. And Hamas is doing so because it does not want to see the Trump plan advance. Because part of the Trump plan idea and part of its main elements is that Hamas will be disarmed. Hamas is trying to do everything possible to avoid this.”

“The IDF operates and direct its fire aims only at terrorists. STORYLINE:
Israel's foreign affairs spokesperson said Wednesday that it is committed to upholding the ceasefire with Hamas, despite heavy airstrikes across the Palestinian territory that killed 104 people, including 46 children, according to local health officials.
The strikes — the deadliest since the ceasefire was enacted on Oct. 10 — marked the most serious challenge to the tenuous truce to date.
Israel accused Hamas of violating the ceasefire by opening fire on troops and handing over body parts that Israel said were the partial remains of a hostage recovered earlier in the war.
“Hamas is responsible for the fire, Hamas is responsible for the violation, and in terms of the response, we said very clearly, we will respond to any violation,” said spokesperson Oren Marmorstein.
He said that the high death toll in Gaza is a result of Hamas using civilians as human shields, adding that the U.S. was informed about the operation and it was carried out in full coordination.
Marmorstein claimed that Hamas is violating the ceasefire because the militant group does not want to proceed to the second phase of the agreement, which calls for it to disarm.
“Hamas is trying to do everything possible to avoid this,” he said.
In response to the Israeli strikes, Hamas said that it would delay handing over the body of another hostage.
