I really tried my best to explain how this EQ works, but it makes more sense with one in your hands (or at your feet). The Long Life is a state-variable filter with a wide range. It's essentially a one-band parametric EQ with some fun tricks up its sleeve.

While this EQ is useful on guitar, I found that it really shines as an outboard tool and used on other instruments besides guitar. I think modular musicians will find the Long Life to be a necessary addition to their arsenals.
