In 2001 , version 10.1 of ALT Linux was announced, which was forked from Mandrake and emerged as a merger of two major Russian free software projects and became an advanced large organization in 2008 . 3The new version, which provides the ability to work with 3D graphics, including more, when simulating B images, comes with the new WINE 7.17, which allows to run both 32-bit and 64-bit applications written under Windows. While it is stated that the updated KDE desktop environment comes with version 5.24, it is said to include KDE Frameworks 5.97 and KDE Gear 22.04. The system introduced with Mesa 22.0; It offers a KDE desktop environment that can be customized to suit any preference. Improved user documentation is provided as more emphasis is placed on solving specific problems. ALT Linux developers state that the system can run on different hardware platforms.
