In Flanders Fields -- What Have We Learned, Charlie Brown?

Some great viewing on this Veteran's Day -- and for Memorial Day, too!

From the 1983 primetime special, "What Have We Learned, Charlie Brown?" Following up to the feature film "Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown". The Peanuts gang travels on through France and eventually Belgium, visiting the sites of the World Wars. They end up in Flanders Fields, discovering the Poppies growing all over the WWI battle site. Linus reads the poem "In Flanders Fields" by John McCrae to tie this all together.

This is a beautiful piece of animation, reflecting on the tragedy and horrors of war in a reverent and poignant manner.

"Peanuts" was created by Charles M Schulz, and is owned by Peanuts Worldwide -- majority owned and represented by WildBrain. No copyright infringement or financial gain is intended.
