Easy Homemade Gulab Jamun Recipe

Ingredients:
- Gulab Jamun mix (any brand)
- Milk (to form dough)
- Oil (for frying)

For the Syrup:
- Sugar (double the amount of flour mix)
- Water (same as sugar)
- A few strands of saffron
- 4-5 crushed cardamom pods
- A small slice of lemon

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Dough:
Mix the Gulab Jamun mix with enough milk to make a smooth dough. Let it rest for 15 minutes.

2. Make the Syrup:
Boil sugar and water in a 1:1 ratio for 15 minutes. Add saffron, cardamom, and a slice of lemon to the syrup and set it aside.

3. Shape the Balls:
Roll the dough into small, smooth balls.

4. Fry the Balls:
Fry the dough balls in oil over low heat until they turn golden brown.

5. Soak in Syrup:
Place the fried balls in the warm syrup and let them soak for 1-2 hours.
