Now let me explain, back when the Pyramids were being built, you had the laborers, carrying heavy bricks and breaking their backs, and you had the architects, sitting back and making designs.

Who do you think got paid more? Obviously the architects, why? Because not everyone could do what they do. Their SKILL is what separated them.
While the general laborer was out sweating and breaking their back, the architects were looking back and laughing at them.

The architects had better places to sleep, ate better food, and overall had better lives. No stress, simply because of the skill they possessed.
And back then, they did not teach anyone these skills. They kept it to themselves. This was their secret to keeping their power and staying rich. They could demand a higher income because they were not easily replaceable.

For anyone watching this, maybe you’re 31 years old and you’re like “I’m living paycheck to paycheck, I got bills to pay, I can’t to go to school or learn a new skill” START LEARNING, if you work a 9-5, learn after work, and this is the part where most people fail.

I would work on my accounting business after work while I had a full time accounting job, I was exhausted after work, you think I wanted to work on the accounting business every evening? Nope, I wanted to watch Netflix n chill.

Nothing worth having comes easy, there is sacrifice, maybe you don’t get caught up on watching Ozark on Netflix and you dedicate that time to learning how to code.

The good news today, is that you can learn so many skills now, and the only person stopping you, is yourself and a world full of distractions. Think about how many skills you can learn and use to increase your income.

For example, right now you might be making minimum wage or close to it, why? Probably because you are easily replaceable. How do you fix this? Acquire a skill or education. This can be learning how to become a plumber in 6 months, an electrician, a personal trainer, anything.

If you are hands off, try learning how to code, or marketing, start offering your services on websites like fiverr and upwork, or get a job with a company.

Today, the skills are out there and endless, the enemy is your netflix subscription, your instagram feed, your tik tok, just endless consumption of entertainment distracting you.

And the more you get sucked into these distractions, the more time goes by, the older you get, the less energy you have to learn a new skill.
This is critical for anyone that doesn’t want to be struggling paycheck to paycheck. You need to do this before anything else, before starting a business, before investing into the stock market or real estate.

Step 1, get a skill, use it to make more money, and keep that money
I took the money I made as an accountant and stacked it up in an online savings account. I could’ve bought the newest BMW, upgraded to a nice apartment, but I stayed spending the same as when I was just working a normal valet job part time. Driving a 10 year old Honda Civic around.

Step 2, master that skill and start your own business
You will need more money than you think you do when starting a business, your business will need it’s own emergency fund separate from your personal emergency fund.

Step 3, reinvest back into your business and or the stock market/real estate
Everytime I have extra money laying in my checking account, it is dangerous, I know I will spend it on dumb things, so my goal is to get rid of it asap, either back into my business or into stocks/real estate.

Step 4, rinse and repeat
That is the simple 4 step formula to success, to building wealth. You don’t need to go to school for years and pay a high tuition, you just need to understand this formula, pick a skill you want to go into, and go from there.

Bottom line, you are worthless to the world without a skill or an education.
