drew: (looks away and scoffs) whatever.

drew: better? what do you mean? zoey's an amazing girlfriend.

milly: (pauses) are you sure?

drew: (tenses up) what are you trying to say?

milly: i.. found out something. and i think you should know about it.

drew: what are you talking about?

milly: (sighs) zoey... she's been.. cheating on you.

milly: somewhere around two or three months, from what i've heard.

drew: that long..? how could i not have known?

milly: it's not your fault, don't blame yourself.

drew: did my friends know?

milly: i'm pretty sure jake did. hasn't he told you anything?

drew: (disappointed) no.. he hasn't.

(pause)

milly: uh, i also just found out recently. i wish i'd known sooner, i would've told you right away.

drew (emotionally conflicted): this is a lot to take in... i.. i don't know what to say...

milly: you don't have to say anything. i just thought you should know.

(pause)

drew: thanks, milly. for looking out for me.

milly: of course. even if it means putting up with your grumpiness.

drew: (scoffs) maybe we can work on not being so... distant with each other.

milly (smiles softly): yeah, that would be nice.
