Although Jim Beam Devils Cut is only 4 points higher on proof, this Jim Beam Double Oak Bourbon drinks 30% lower in alcohol bite or harshness. This Jim Beam Double Oak Bourbon would be a great mixer, or sipper for getting people into bourbons. We would pick other bourbons before buying this one, as it is not really a budget bourbon.
