In this video I go over how to do a code update on 1990's era Williams pinball machines. These machines use an EPROM, so it's not quite as straightforward as modern machines which use a thumb drive or self-update from the internet.

Hopefully this is the end of my rebooting problems with Whitewater - as I mentioned in the video, this was only one possible cause, so more gameplay testing is required before I can call this a conclusive fix. Regardless, though, we've eliminated one possibility.
