Samuel Wesley - AIR & GAVOTTE is Charming Classical English Organ Music

In this video I play the 2 very well-known and accesisble little organ pieces by Samuel Wesley, Air and Gavotte on my Hauptwerk Organ on the sample set of Noordbroek.
The 2 pieces are actually just called number 8 and 9 when you find them in Wesley's collection, "12 Short Pieces for the Organ". However, the pieces gained so much popularity that they eventually got a more descriptive names.

Samuel Wesley lived from 1766 – 1837 called was called by some "the English Mozart". Regarded by many to be a child prodigy he showed impressive skills at composing and improvisation.
He went on to compose around 120 organ pieces while also mastering conducting and teaching music. Wesley's compositional style was eclectic, with influences from the late Baroque era, Classicism and, later, early Romanticism.
