Partnerships are key to GenAI success

Fabio Cerone, GM and head of telco EMEA at Amazon Web Services (AWS), explains why partnerships and collaboration are absolutely vital for any company aiming to use generative AI (GenAI) as part of their transformation strategies. Talking to TelecomTV at the recent DTW24 event in Copenhagen, Cerone provided examples of how AWS is working with the likes of BT, Amdocs, Ericsson and T-Mobile US to put GenAI to work. He also outlined the key use cases for GenAI in the telecom sector and discussed more broadly how AWS is working with telecom operators, such as Telenor and Telefónica Germany, on strategic and game-changing initiatives related to sovereign cloud and hosted core platform functionality.
