What makes a portfolio website easy to navigate? And how do you know hiring managers are actually seeing your best projects?

Whether you're on the ID job hunt for the first time, or trying to update your work for a new role, we want to show you what a successful portfolio looks like (to take out some of the guess work).

In this video, Sabrina Gonzales walks us through a Katherine Porter's portfolio to show you how simple design elements can come together and make you stand out on the ID market.

Sabrina highlights the key aspects that make Katherine's portfolio both effective and engaging: the cohesive color palette, the clear informative content, and button animations that grab your attention.

And the coolest part? Katherine uses Canva for her website, a popular graphic-editing tool that is free, easy-to-use, and adds to the user's experience.

This is the first portfolio we've reviewed that used Canva and we were impressed by the results!

We'll also get a look at what makes Katherine's flagship project so impressive - giving us some hints as to how she landed her current ID role.
