Walking Seattle - South Park, 4K, 2024

South Park is tucked into a corner of Seattle on the banks of the Duwamish River and on the border with neighboring Tukwila. We went down there for a field trip to check out the area and ended up filming a very long walk around the neighborhood. The neighborhood is a mix of residential and industrial and has been gentrified to a degree, though it retains is working class flavor. We started on the new South Park Bridge and roamed around for over an hour and a half, and tried out connecting an external battery when the camera battery runs out. This will permit much longer walks. For the most part it worked fine, but I did accidentally stop recording once. We also doubled back and walked some streets twice. The neighborhood is in the flight path of planes to and from SeaTac Airport.
