Vintage Eureka RotoMatic Power Team Canister Vacuum Model 1276

Another Thrift store find. Complete with The power head for carpets and a hardwood floor attachment. Everything works on it. The power head works no issues for the short time I ran it. The hose appears in good shape. nothings ripped or torn. The plastic isn't dry rotted or cracking. The retractable cord pulls out and retracts nice and smooth. Only issue is trying to find bags for it. Originally it took Eureka style S bags but those have since been discontinued.

Hoover has a type s bag but it's not the right kind. The correct bag will have little ear holes in the carboard part that engages with the tabs on the holder. there is a aftermarket manufacture that Has eureka type B that are supposed to fit and looking at the picture they appear to be the correct ones. The bag that was in here when I got the vacuum was old and torn. it was empty but the writing had worn off on it.

One type you can make it work in a pinch but you have to be careful not to rip the the bag while making it work. there will be a follow up to this video at some point testing the vacuum on the stairs.
