The armed conflict between the government and opposition forces, now in its fourth month, has displaced more than a million people, with violence continuing despite a January ceasefire. As both sides prepare for the upcoming round of peace talks, panelists will discuss critical next steps and examine the roles that external actors, including the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development, the U.S. government, and the E.U., can play in supporting the negotiations and ensuring an eventual resolution of the conflict.
