Here's how Lost in Space season 3 ends. Netflix's sci-fi show picks up one year after the end of Lost in Space season 2, which left the Robinson family apart. The show starts right where it left off, with the kids setting up a base on a new planet, while the parents from the Resolute try to stay out of the way of the dead alien robots that are nearby. However, by the end of the series, all of the main characters find themselves in different places.
Although Lost in Space season 3 starts with the Robinson family trying to get back together, the second half of the season talks about how the war with SAR (Scary Alien Robot) can be over. This puts a lot of stress on Will Robinson, because he knows that SAR is after him due to his connection to Robot. They also know that the evil robot wants to hurt Will and his two daughters, Judy and Penny. Maureen Robinson, John Robinson, and their two daughters try to keep them safe. Of course, they have their own storylines in this latest season. Judy finds her father, Grant Kelly, who she thought was dead, and Penny is caught in a love triangle.
Where Did Will Robinson & Robot Travel To?
The last picture in the ending of season 3 shows Will and Robot on a new planet from another world. After they helped stop SAR's war, Will took some time to become a better pilot so that he and Robot could go on more adventures with each other again. Will can go on a trip after Thanksgiving as long as he and Robot come back before Christmas. Will may have changed his plans or already missed his chance to go to Alpha Centauri for Christmas.
The ending of Lost in Space season 3 doesn't give us any more information about where Will and Robot went.

While Will and Robot are gone exploring other worlds, the Robinson family stays on Alpha Centauri to help restore the colony. The Robinsons arrived and quickly annihilated the colony.
Why Dr. Smith Confessed For Her Crimes
Dr. Zoe Smith was a continual source of mayhem throughout Lost in Space, but by the end of season 3 she finally breaks free of her programming. Captain Radic was saved, and Smith confessed to her prior atrocities. This included nearly killing Radic in season 2 and assuming Dr. Smith's identity. She needed it to really atone for her faults and serve the time required. For Smith, it's the epitome of her journey from bad to good in Lost in Space.
How Robot Saved Will Robinson's Life (Twice)
Robot saves Will's life twice in season 3 finale. First, Robot brought Will to his home planet to persuade other robots to combat SAR.
Is SAR Really Defeated?
After the other robots discovered where Maureen and Ben Adler abandoned its body in season 2, SAR returned in Lost in Space season 3. The robots rewired SAR into a new body so he could continue chasing Will Robinson.
How Lost In Space Sets Up Season 4
Based on the ending of Lost in Space season 3, there is a lot of room for the Robinson family's story to go on in a fourth season. Will and Robot's adventures in space.They could even get stuck in an unknown place, which would force the Robinsons, Don West, and other people to go on a rescue mission. At the end of her book, Penny writes "The End of Chapter One," which sums up the whole story of Lost in Space.
