We've been debating which weapon is the fastest to use for Asgore for the speedrun. Empty Gun is the best weapon by far, but takes too long to get. Behind that is the Pan, which is a little out of the way, but still very good. Then the knife, which is okay, but takes basically no time to get.
I spent a lot of time testing/practicing with the Pan. This is the result;
Pan takes ~17s to pick up. WR with KNife takes 23 turns to kill Asgore, this takes 15. It makes up for the 17s it takes to pick up, and then saves 30 more seconds on top of that.
